I am logged onto another local windows 10 minecraft computer (2 of us play at home on our LAN). I have planted several OAK saplings in the ground and even after 4 full minecraft days, they are still saplings. Bonemeal made them grow instantly.

Just checking some things to be safe, were you active in/around the area where you planted those saplings over those 4 minecraft days (chunks freeze in time if you are not near them) or did you sleep to try to make that time pass (that doesn't work).
Do saplings grow if they are planted by the host of the LAN game?
