Since updating you can no longer drop items out of your inventory. You use to click the item and then click anywhere on the screen and it would throw it but now it does nothing.

I’ve seen when you highlight a item in your inventory then tap on an item in the creative menu, it just highlights the one in the creative menu instead of getting rid of the one in your inventory
EDIT: When in the inventory menu only items in your hotbar can discarded to the creative menu, items in your other 3 inventory rows will do the weird highlight stuff.
