We have two Xboxes (Xbox One and Series X) and since the recent update neither can connect to any world hosted on our Switch. We have tried various worlds and all have the Xboxes stuck on locating server. The switch can connect to worlds hosted on the Xboxes and I can use my same Microsoft account on the iPhone to join the switch worlds with no issue. There were no problems prior to the update.
The character does load in so I have tried the fixes for the similar world specific issues (moving with a piston, killing with a wither rose, etc) but none work. The piston just goes through the character.
We have no issues connecting to other games on the Xboxes and nats show as open.

Anything on this?! Been a while now and still happening. If I connect to the world by IPhone I can load in fine and move the character but it still gets stuck on locating server when I join on the Xbox.

I have the exact same issue. I am playing on the Series X, and I am trying to connect to my son's world on the Nintendo Switch.
His world shows up under the "Joinable Friends" browser. However whenever I try to join, it just hangs on the "Locating Server" portion of the "Generating World" window. I have tried waiting for a significant amount of time, and it never allows me to connect on my end. The strange thing is on his end, it does show my name, and it will even say I've disconnected when I hit cancel on my end. His world isn't even very big, it's only like 5MB right now. NAT shows as open. I am pretty sure we were able to do this before. Perhaps it was a recent update that caused this?

This issue is still ongoing with version 1.19.60. I still cannot join a world hosted from a Nintendo Switch with a XBOX Series X. It is worse than before. Now it just times out when trying to connect.

Any updates about this issue? I'm still trying to connect from a Xbox Series S to a Nintendo Switch World and still the screen do not pass from "Generating World" Version: 1.19.73 and still cannot join. I pay to play online and this is just not fair. So what's the point to play if you can't enjoy? please someone fixed this issue is completely senseless. My internet connection is great, still I don't get why this s*** is happening.
