Beacon bottom does not render when viewed from directly below

Hi, how many beacons, that didn't have the obsidian texture under, did you place? Does the missing obsidian affect more than one beacon? Did you place it using only creative inventory?

Did you place the beacon from above and see the obsidian, then viewed from below and saw the obsidian had disappeared? Or did you place it from below, and immediately saw no obsidian?

it might not matter, but I'm asking just in case I guess

I remember that I couldn't see the obsidian even from the above and below

Is it still an issue? I could not reproduce it on my side.
