Bedrock for MacOS (JUST USE THE IPAD VERSION)

I am very mad at Mojang now. I really want Bedrock Edition on the Macs for a slew of reasons, including smoother gameplay, bedrock-exclusive features like sugarcane bonemeal, Metal support, play with friends on the Apple ecosystem, a game that's natively optimized for the Mac, AND with the Hive and Marketplace apps. I tried adding feedback THREE TIMES, but ALL of them were rejected. I tried contacting Mojang AND Microsoft through Twitter, YouTube, Minecraft Support, and even sending them a physical letter about why Bedrock NEEDS to be on the Mac, but I either got responses from bots that told me to do something that I already tried and was rejected, or I got no response. This is NOT a bug, but it won't let me change type. This is feedback that Microsoft has rejected! Even the 5K voted one still isn't under review and Microsoft, along with Disney and Netflix, opted out! All it takes is a lick of a switch to put this game on the Mac! And Boot Camp is gone because of the Microsoft-Qualcomm deal, so I can't just boot up Windows to play Chadrock!

MYTH vs FACT

MYTH: Macs are not suitable or meant for gaming, so no games should appear.

FACT: Neither are Android phones, iPhones, and most Windows devices, and yet there are still tons of games on them.

EXAMPLE: COD Mobile is available for mobile devices. Even min-specced cheap laptops can run COD Warzone, whereas it is not available on even the Mac Studio.

MYTH: Macs are not as popular as Windows, so it only makes sense if games only appear on Windows. There are no gamers on the Mac.

FACT: “Competition” can only occur if these games are released on all platforms, popular or not.

EXAMPLE: Games were made for the Xbox One even though it was less popular than the Playstation 4. And I know that game developers don’t have the insensitivity to add games to the Mac because there are no gamers on the Mac, but why would they expect there to be Mac gamers when there are no games available on the Mac in the first place? Why would developers just expect there to be Mac gamers without Mac games? When they put their games on the Xbox, the PlayStation, the Switch, and on Windows, they took a risk. And now they’re unwilling to take one on the Mac? There are no gamers on the Mac, but there were also no gamers on Windows before you took that risk!

MYTH: If iOS and iPadOS games are allowed on the Mac, they would have a serious boost in performance, giving them an unfair advantage over iPhone and iPad gamers.

FACT: The iPad Air and Pro run on the same M1 chip that powers the Mac Mini, so they would get no boost over those iPads. Additionally, since every PC is built differently, online games could put players of different specs in the same game.

EXAMPLE: Most games pit a basic laptop with minimum specs against a person with an i9 4090 gaming PC, such as Fortnite! 30 FPS against 7,200 FPS!

MYTH: If we add keyboard and mouse support, Mac gamers could simply use our new method or keymap controllers to their keyboard and mouse, which will give them another advantage over iOS and iPadOS gamers.

FACT: Some games (such as Minecraft CHADROCK) already have native keyboard and mouse support, and Microsoft is fine putting mobile Minecraft gamers using touch controls against i9 4090 PC gamers, so Microsoft is forcing people with worse specs AND CONTROLS against the opposite. Also, if you don’t want to go through the effort of adding K&M support to the Mac, you have another option. KEY. MAPP. ING.

EXAMPLE: COD Mobile only pits people who play with a controller against other controller players. If they're scared of keymapping, why not disable it and add native K&M support to only pit them against other K&M players? Or just add Warzone to the Mac!

MYTH: Apple does not own any game studios, so they are not a gaming company.

FACT: Most hardware-makers are not gaming companies too.

EXAMPLE: Google doesn’t own any game companies, and yet there are still tons of games on Android! Even Microsoft is just buying out their competition instead of making their own games!

MYTH: The Mac hardware is not capable of gaming.

FACT: The A12X chip can run iPad games at 120FPS, so the M1 can do the same, the M1 Pro can run it at 240FPS, M1 Max 480, M1 Ultra 960, and M2 150! And the A12X predated next-gen consoles by 2 years!

EXAMPLE: Before its unfortunate takedown, Fortnite could run on the iPad Pro at 120FPS, predating the PS5 AND XSX! Even now Android tablets can’t catch up!

MYTH: Microsoft owns Minecraft, so they have the right to exclude it from the Mac for platform exclusivity.

FACT: “Exclusivity” does not work for all cases and only applies to certain platforms. Even if the hardware-maker is competing against them.

EXAMPLE: Bedrock, Dungeons, and Legends are on the PS4/5 AND Switch even though they are competing with Microsoft's Xbox BUT NOT THE MAC!

It’s iconic that you lied about Javirgin being a native Silicon app. No wonder that Javirgin also can’t run on Microsoft’s own ARM chips. Even Epic was honest when they said they added 120FPS to iPad Minecraft. Encourage game developers to put their games on the Mac and embrace competition, and do not become a PC gaming monopoly! And Epic Games was willing to take the risk to add Fortnite to the Mac! Become loyal, not toxic, to Apple!
