While playing the game, some of my items in my inventory would suddenly disappear without any reasons. One instance, I had a shulker chest in my inventory filled with all of my equipments (max enchanted bow, swords, armor—things I don’t currently need to have while mining) at one point and after doing some tasks (I was mining out my underground cave at the time), I reopened my inventory to find it missing. Another time, I had a stack of froglights on the most right hotbar and it would also disappear while I was playing the game.
The most difficult thing about this bug is not knowing what action(s) causes my items to disappear in the first place since the items can disappear without me knowing for a brief moment.
I feel it has something to do with opening chests (ender and shulkers as well) and or trading with villagers.
A related issue is the game tends to freeze after I organized the stuff in my inventory into their appropriate storage chest in my house after I’m done exploring some place. I would wait 20+ minutes for the game to stop freezing but nothing changes, and so, I exited the game by going to the home screen and closed the game there. After starting the game and reentering my world again, I would find some of my items in my inventory completely gone. I tried looking through every chests that I have just in case if I may have misplaced my items—but to no luck, they are no where to be found.
Please look into this issue and fix it. It felt devastating and un-motivating to continue playing the game after losing all my netherite equipments stored in my shulker chest.

I have a similar problem under Windows, as soon as I open a chest or the inventory, the first item is deposited, but the mouse is still at the point of the last closing of a window. If you now want to close the window with the mouse button witout moving the mouse, the first item is taken out of the chest or. The helmet taken off. If the window is closed after a slight mouse movement, the object falls out of your hand when the inventory is full, so it is lost.
There's a problem I have with post game when you beat the Ender Dragon and you're playing co-op through LAN.
Player 2 will have their entire inventory cleared and will spawn on the first spawn area. Never died at all.
Also the game will randomly crash when you load into it and also crash dangerously close after you save.
Confirmed on Bedrock 1.21.44 on iPad. I have had individual inventory items disappear randomly. Have not been able to track why. I wonder if it is related to throwing inventory items out while the inventory window is open. The proper items seem to empty when I do that, but it does seem like other items in inventory disappear later in game. I cannot track this to any other actions or crashes. Cannot reproduce at will yet.
I was on my way to a village and lost everything in my inventory but a lead, thinking I was tripping out I went back to my base, checked every chest I have, checked all the chests in the village and it’s no where to be found, I didn’t die so there no explanation…literally full stack of emeralds gone
Im on mid-game and my enchanted diamond sword just disappeared while I was trading food with villagers. It was the only item that had mending on it. I’m quite mad tbh
Are you saying that items only disappear after the game freezes and you have to close it?
