Horses feed on Apples, Golden Apples even Enchanted Golden Apples, Bread, Wheat and Carrot.

1. When Steve holding the Carrot and Enchanted Golden Apple, the horses head to the Steve but the 'Feed' word does not appear. Causes Steve cannot feed the horses.
2. While Steve feeds horses with the items that are not mentioned above, the horses cannot eat completely. We can hear the eating sound but the horses cannot eat what Steve holds.
Horses cause the phone to lag due to their movement.

Horses that are already tamed can only eat if they have taken damage. Unless it's a golden apple that's all you can feed them to make them breed now with 15.6 update. They can't eat enchanted gold apples I think that's a bug.?

In the official Minecraft Wiki it does not say horses eat carrots but it does say they eat golden carrots.
