I recently updated Minecraft on my Nintendo Switch, and everytime i go to launch the game it freezes.
Here's what's happening:
-I insert the game card into the system.
After launching the game I get to the title screen.{-}{-}{-}
-About 1 to 2 minutes after launch (either on the title screen or in the "new world" menu) my game freezes up my Switch and I am forced to reboot the system
-I reboot the frozen system by holding the power button down for 10 or so seconds and the Switch powers off.
So far I eliminated the fact it could be my system because all of my other game cartridges play just fine with no issues. I also cleaned the contacts of the game cartridge and system to rule out that. As well as making sure my SD card was not faulty by having the game downloaded only to the console. I was told either the cartridge is corrupt or it could be a bug caused by the new update. I've called Nintendo for troobleshooting, Target (where I bought the cartridge), and now Minecraft is my last hope. I've been really sad because I haven't been able to play Minecraft recently, and any help would be super great. Thanks!
