NPC Spawn egg does not spawn anything unless used in a monster spawner

Please give as much information as possible about your device and OS, any installed mods, texture packs and what you have tried to do to resolve the issue.

Also dose that for me, no mods, Android 6.0.1, Samsung Galaxy Tab A (SM-T350)

The NPC spawn egg was removed in the update to build 1.

I can't spawn NPCs using /summon?

NPC's were ment for Education Edition only, many items from Education Edition were added by mistake in the beta release so they were removed ( made unobtainable) in Pocket Edition.

NPC spawn egg is exclusive version that only can be obtainable on Pocket Edition,Win 10.Egg can't spawn but using command or monster spawner only.Just check at minecraft.gamepedia.com for detail.

Gamepedia only stated what was in the game and is currently outdated. Gamepedia is not run by Mojang and has its flaws. On pocketbeta.minecraft.net changelog for 0.15.90.1 or Build 1 revised, has the a change listed as 'The only bug fix for this "revised build 1" is that we removed Education Edition only items' and in that update NPC spawn eggs and other items were removed from the creative inventory and commands. If you still had one in your inventory it didn't dissappear because it is coded in the game just now unobtainable without 3rd party apps now.

NPC skin available on all platform (PE,Win 10,VR and Edu).I know because I extract all MC:PE apk for fixing bug on multiply device.

Can't you just spawn the Npc using the egg by the /ability command hidden in the .apk file: 'commands\education.json'?
