load into survival world to find my entire inventory wiped and no exp either. As if I’m starting the world for the first time. Happens frequently and I cannot progress in my somewhat new world as it’s happening too often!
(Not sure what affects version it is so I’ve put a random one)

Okay thanks for the help I’ll try and make a copy. Perhaps until they fix the bug it’s worth just making a copy of the world every time I quit? Which is a pain but if it works it’s better than losing my stuff!
Strange that you created one AFTER you already lost your stuff and then rejoined your original and got all your stuff back but if that works either way I’ll try it!
For now as it’s a starter world I’m not too bothered I can put stuff in chests but I hope it’s fixed soon as later in the game I don’t want to be losing my exp levels!!
Same thing happened to me, I created a copy of the world after the wipe happened and my stuff is back, maybe try that.
Edit: after the copy worked, I rejoined the original world and all is normal, not sure why this hasn't worked before but it helped just now.
