After the update from 1.19.51 to 1.19.60 i started my world saves while waiting for realms to update as well. Once i got into the save i was back at spawn with a new map... like i was a new pkayer joining my own world. I started to worry once i found my base empty handed and tried to activate the pets i tamed. Didnt work! I then checked the one end chest i had! Also empty. So now ive lost my character progress and any items i was using previously along with stored items in the end chest. Valuables of course. Sad day.
I forced my kids lite edition of nintendo switch NOT to update minecraft. Checked my world save and all progress intact. From there i unequipped and emptied my end chest just incase it happens once i update minecraft on the lite edition. Backing up this save file and uploading it so the auto save from updated one is same as the one where i had stored all gear and valuables in a chest. Not end chest. Pets will have to be forever living statues at my base.
