I came here to see if anyone was having a similar issue and I saw one post but they said it was from playing offline just their inventory was deleted but I don't think that's my problem.
I was playing earlier just fine but a few minutes ago when I logged back on I was at spawn with a new map, no items in my inventory, and even my end chest was empty. All my other chests and items were still there? It's like the game registered me as a new player in my own world or something. I tried logging out then back in but nothing happened. I also tried dying to see if maybe it would drop my stuff upon death but nothing. Has anyone else heard or seen this happening?
Side note: while typing this I tried loading into my creative world and basically the same thing?? I spawned at what I assume is spawn for that world with nothing in my inventory.

I'm having the same issue. I haven't played in 2 days my son wanted to play so I went to log in and I was at spawn with no inventory or experience levels. He hopped in and all of his stuff was still there. We had this issue the day 1.19.62 was released I was already in the game playing with him, he got off for a few hours to play with his cousin on a different game came back to play with me and he was reset, he logged out very upset turns out it just needed to be updated so I logged out and sure enough my Xbox needed updated as well. Once we got the update downloaded we logged back in and everything was fine. So when I logged in this evening and saw that I had the same issue I immediately click the save and quit button to check for an update and there was nothing there, then I went and uninstalled the game reinstalled it and I'm still having the same issue. I also logged into a creative world of mine and was also reset back at spawn with nothing in my inventory.

I think this is happening to me as well. I was playing last night fine, working in the nether and then saved and quit the game. When I went to play again tonight, I was spawned at a random spot in the overworks with nothing in my inventory. Tried quitting without saving and reloading and same thing, random spot and empty inventory.
