Often I get a "wow this server is popular" message when attempting to join servers that say e.g. "2/8" players. These servers do not have their player count limited to 2 (verified in settings).
It seems the error message is not correct.
The true cause is unknown. It happens consistently when attempting to join a game started on the Switch version.
It didn't used to happen. I used to play with people on their Switch regularly. I have not been able to join a single game, however, in a couple of weeks.
I have no additional information.

I am having this issue. I am playing on nintendo switch. There is this one friend I want to join, but I cannot. It says "1/8 people" or sometimes "2/8" people. When I try to join them, it instantly says "this server is popular come back when there is more space" and then it kicks me back.
This only happens with this one specific friend I'm trying to join. I can join all my other friends (most of the time)
