Cannot load Minecraft on iPad only, works on PlayStation and pc

Things worked just fine until I signed out of my account to re-sign in; I do that to fix when it hangs on loading my skins. Ever since I signed out it hangs at 66 percent when I try and load it only on iPad.  Right before I signed out the game was hanging at 97% upon loading multiple times until it finally loaded completely after forced quitting five or six times. I’ve read several articles that said it helps to sign out of your account and sign back in and this has historically fixed the loading of purchases. Now the game will not get past 66% and after force quitting it will crash one or two times before getting stuck at 66%.
