Dealing with the same issue for the last couple updates, on my PS4. I thought it was fixed with the last update version 2.61, but just last night while playing split screen it began to do this again where it wouldn’t save when playing with another person. Saves perfectly fine with just one person, but freezes with 2. The autosave icon will freeze/stay on when using multiplayer or split screen in my case with 2 people, but is normal with single player.
Suuuuuuper frustrating to lose all of that progress, this has been ongoing for almost a month if I had to guess…
