When trying to connect to a friends world a message saying this could not connect to world shows up. There is no other explanation. Skins are usable everywhere or made in the character customizer. Both systems are on the same Minecraft version. Both devices are Apple iPads on iOS 16. One is a iPad mini sixth generation, and the other is a iPad eighth generation. The devices do have over 1 GB. An android device (Google pixel 6)on the same network had no trouble joining. An unknown device on a different net work had no trouble joining.
