Cursor jumps when navigating the inventory

when in the inventory screen doing any short movements with the cursor that don’t take it to the next slot but instead to the border between the slots of the crafting suggestion or inventory slots will teleport the cursor. When moved to the left or up it will take the cursor the magnifying glass icon, to the right will teleport it to the crafting slots, down will teleport the cursor to the armour slots. 
This makes navigating the inventory UI tedious and aggravating as short movements often lead to the cursor jumping to an unwanted location.
