In Java Edition, all paintings can be placed separately. In Bedrock Edition, it cannot be placed randomly through one item.
In Java Edition. Paintings with pre-defined variant can display author, title and size in description when hovered over. But in Bedrock Edtion the paintings cannot display it.

This constitutes a legitimate parity issue. The feature in question was introduced to Java Edition in version 1.19.4. You can verify this in the official Minecraft Snapshot 23w06a changelog: https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/article/minecraft-snapshot-23w06a

The feature behaves differently in one edition than in the other
The parity issue was introduced in Buzzy Bees (Bedrock Edition 1.14 / Java Edition 1.15) or later and was not present before
