My friends can't see the skin I made and I can't see theirs

You and your friend have the "Only Allow Trusted Skins" option enabled in Settings > General? If so, does disabling this option solve the problem?

Also the minute this problem popped up my Xbox icon stopped showing up for some weird reason but I tried turning off trusted skins but that didn’t do anything
