I was thinking it's bugged the entire time to be playing too often like this. I'm not sure if this is working as intended

What do you mean by 'too often'? Does the music play right away, when the first 'time' ends, or there is a break between them?

Yes precisely that. After the song finishes playing it immediately plays again.
