I have tried to get the achievement "Chestful of Cobblestone" for some time now and I have filled four rows of a double chest which is 2304 cobblestone. The achievement says that I need only 1728 cobblestone. I installed the game through Minecraft launcher, if that helps.

Make sure you don't use a double sized chest. Using a single one get you the achievement. For double size chest you need fill all the slots with cobblestone in order to get the achievement with a double chest.

I can confirm that this is solved in the latest update.
I was able to complete the achievement now.
