the game is able to sign into realms and account fine and even shows potential realms to join. but when I go into my own non-realms map and go to invite someone on the same platform it shows I have no friends and when I search their names to add as a friend it shows that the name does not exist

I also have this issue, I ended up posting about it, on Twitter, and others seem to be having this problem. Two of my other friends are also experiencing this as well...
