When playing on controller, Stopping is delayed causing to move more than expected

While I was playing Minecraft a couple of days ago, I noticed that if I stop, there are times I move too much. It took me until now to realized it affect mostly single player worlds, where it was common. It doesn’t happens as much on servers though.

How to reproduce
1. When playing on controller, move then stop
2. There is a chance that you move for a bit even when you’re not touching the controller

What happens:
I move too much and slow down as time goes on.

What should happens:
I expected to stop rather than keep on moving.

I don’t know how my file was large, but here is the link

I just realized, it was my controller causing the issues not Minecraft.

Ok, I was wrong.
When I tried a controller test app, it didn’t cause the issue, which lead me to think it was Minecraft’s problem and not my controller.

Does it mean that the issue is resolved on your side and can be closed?
