Iron Golems not becoming hostile

The iron golem's AI is inconsistent. In the video below, you can see that, despite the wall, the husk can see the golem, but the golem seems unaware of the husk. Even after the husk attacks the golem, the golem does not retaliate for several seconds. On the second attempt, you can see that the golem's response is much quicker, but he still did not detect the second husk with the wall in between. I have even run some tests in which the golem and husk both ignored each other.

I have been trying to make an iron farm recently, and this inconsistency in the AI has basically rendered it useless.

The link takes me to a picture of a golem and coordinates, not to a video. Please give a link to a video showing the problem or a screenshot showing your full test setup.

I was able to get the video to play. It looks like the issue is that the enclosure you have made is not large enough for the golem to pathfind, and because it cannot pathfind anywhere it cannot confirm that it is close enough to the zombie to attack. When you spawn the golem in a 3x3 floor surrounded by wall blocks, its collsion boxes extends into all 9 blocks of the 3x3 floor. To further investigate this issue it would need to be tested in different sized rooms.
