After downloading the update all my worlds were erased when I opened Minecraft Bedrock.
Apparently, the first thing that appeared on screen was an offer to Log In to my account, that never happened before, and then when i wanted to export my Survival World, I noticed that all my Worlds disappeared (there were about 10 or so). Not only that, but all of my Addons also got deleted. The only things that remained were the Skin and the Achievements, that do not belong to the internal files of the game.
Is there anything to do with this? The whole problem made me refuse to play Minecraft Bedrock anymore.

No, I did not reinstall it.
When I opened Minecraft Launcher there was an offering to update the game (around 90mb or so), and I accepted it and after updating I opened the game and saw my progress being deleted.
I also just lost my entire save data all of my worlds everything. I clicked to update checked my download and it was stopped the entire program uninstalled. I have lost hundreds of hours of work because of a poorly made update
Just had this happen to me when updating to 1.20.71. I normally update the game through the Microsoft Store, but this time I tried using the Xbox app. After clicking on the "Update" button, it started to download the update and then it uninstalled the game, deleting all my data.
Udated Minecraft Bedrock and Launcher on the PC on 3/13/24 and all of my worlds as well as the SMP Server (that I play on) data was deleted
I know this is not relevant for the people that already lost data, but this has been confirmed to be an issue with the Xbox app: Microsoft article for Game Release Known Issues March 2024
Please avoid downloading Minecraft updates through Xbox app, at least for now.
The issue is very much being worked on.
Having said that, if anyone experienced the issue outside of Xbox app, please comment and create a new issue.

Did you reinstall the game? Reinstalling the game deletes your worlds and add-ons.
