MinecraftWorlds empty, yet worlds can be played. New storage for Android does not show correctly

Wanted to copy out worlds to a new phone. Using Application storage location, /Android/data/com.mojang.minecraftpe/files/games/com.mojang/ exists and has directories in it, however these show as empty (both in mobile explorer and on PC through USB). /games does not exist. Worlds are not lost (they can be played in the game) but are not located where expected in the filesystem. There is no SD card in the phone. Unable to locate them for copying/backup. Samsung S10e. Please help. This is not a duplicate to the MCPE-149493 - rather the opposite. The worlds are stored somewhere and not lost. the problem is they are not located/shown where expected and unable to be located. Thanks
