Can't Quick Fill Commands In Chat By Pressing Left On Dpad When Typing

1.Open Chat 

2.Start Typing a command /gamerule 

3. Press B To Lower Keyboard And Press Left On DPad To Quick Fill, It Will Just Move Over And Won't Quick Fill Fommand

Also affects Switch & PlayStation, this is due to a change where textboxes must be selected first before quick filling, but this brings up a virtual keyboard on consoles

With a real keyboard on Xbox "tab" validates the first choice proposed but for the following choice nothing works

would you please add a space button on the chat UI while you’re at it
it would save me so much time instead of opening the keyboard and closing it to autofill

I confirmed that it's fixed in 1.20.50
