Mobs are causing severe lag in 1.20.30

Whenever a mob is being targeted or damaged by the attacker, the game tick drops to like 1 tick per second, especially when it involves villagers; even just one villager is enough to make the whole world look like it is in slow motion, Blocks are visibly taking longer to break even in creative mode when mobs are nearby, especially when they are targeting or being targeted by other mobs.
