[MCPE-175148] Typing '§' causes text before it to start deleting

One of the many typing-related bugs in 1.20.30 is this, where once a player adds a colour code to their text, all their normal text before it will start deleting, and the caret also disappears. This only started happening with this update, and only affects iOS.
