Resource/Behavior Pack Failure to Load Text

Every time I enter into a world, it gives the text ‘at least one of your resource or behavior packs failed to load.’ This happens regardless of whether I have no texture pack, a Minecraft texture pack, or another creator’s texture pack. It seems to be causing problems with loading other creator’s texture packs and causing a delay in breaking blocks. I have updated to IOS17, updated the app, and reset the texture packs, but nothing seems to help.

Do you have any active behaviour packs. You can view enabled behavior packs from the edit world menu.

I could not reproduce this in 1.21.1. Is this still an issue? If so, could you attach the affected world to the report? In case the world file is too large to be uploaded to the bug tracker directly, please upload it elsewhere (e.g. Dropbox, OneDrive) and link to it here.

This issue is being temporarily resolved as Awaiting Response. Once the requested information has been delivered, the report will be reopened automatically.

This happened on me too. It always happened everytime I load up a world even though I don’t use any packs and my packs completely fine. Never happened before 26.30 Chaos Cubed Update Released

Happened on PC btw

Hey, so this bug is happening again in v26.51 on PC. (the bug fix update after the Wilderness Bound Update) The reason this ticket was likely marked incomplete or hard to recreate before is because it requires a specific combination of both Marketplace content and/or custom developer created addons active in the client environment to trigger.

Anytime that I join a world—whether it's an addon-heavy world or a completely clean vanilla world—the error pops up in chat in bright red text (indicating a hard engine/compiler validation failure).

I am attaching screenshots of this error happening in 2 separate worlds that either does or does not have Custom and/or Marketplace addons added to the world’s resource and behavior packs.

(the image below is with Custom addons & Marketplace addons being added to the world’s resource and behavior packs.)

I have tried a variety of methods to get this error message to stop, such as completely removing all files from the development_resource_packs and development_behavior_packs folders, deleting duplicate packs, and clearing the user storage cache. Despite a clean-slate local folder environment, the phantom error message still appears no matter what is done.

Replication Method:
The issue is a client-side handshake failure specific to the PC directory layout (AppData\Roaming\Minecraft Bedrock\Users). When the client initializes, it checks the global registry for the active Xbox profile's Marketplace dependencies. If the engine detects that a local developer folder structure exists (Shared vs User ID paths), it attempts to cross-index them with the marketplace files. If one of those paths is empty or lacks matching account markers, the handshake logic fails globally on startup, throwing a red compiler alert into every world before it even checks the world's actual active packs.

This is a persistent client-cache database bug on PC that forces me to use custom .mcfunction chat-clear workarounds just to hide the visual clutter. (aka using a tellraw command and spamming 20-30 newlines (“\n”) until the error message is out of chat’s scrolling & viewing distance.

(the custom addons are working, they are not erroring in anyway shape or form & no, im not tellraw-ing that message into chat)
