Dear Sir or Madam,
on Windows 10 home we purchased Minecraft Windows over Microsoft.. The game can be played but no download from the marketplace is possible. This has been a very frustrating experience for my kid and a huge waste of my lifetime. Can you please fix this issue, or advice how to solve it? Maybe you need a certain port to be open?

What happens exactly when you try to download something from the Marketplace?

When I try to download something I see the download bar moving/blinking forever. There is no hint, no error message, no log output nothing that gives a hint of what is happening.

I know its the wrong project. I could not choose the right one from the drop down menu.

We're tracking this issue at MCPE-54531, so I will resolve and link this ticket as a duplicate. You can try clearing the Marketplace cache and see if that helps:
Navigate to Minecraft > Settings > Storage
Press the Clear Marketplace Cache button at the top
Exit Minecraft and restart your device
You post this on the wrong project, Java don't have marketplace but Bedrock do.
