This is an issue that's been around since the beginning of the 120Hz refresh rate iPad Pros and is still an issue. When playing Minecraft, the game is locked to a 60Hz refresh rate. Even toggling the FPS Slider and putting it to the proper 120FPS, the game itself is locked to 60FPS. I initially thought this was just a MCPE issue but my S22 Ultra (Samsung that runs Android) runs at 120Hz and isn't locked at the typical 60Hz. This makes me wonder if there was never an update put in place to make it so the Refresh rate is unlocked on iOS. It ruins gameplay because it makes it way choppier than it should be because the new M2 iPad Pro is more than powerful enough to run at the full 120Hz. Hopefully this bug report can be noticed and dealt with in a quick and easy update.
