Sometimes when you change the difficulty on playstation 5 (don't know if it is also the case for ps4) the game freezes and you can't do anyting or you stuck in the game/settings menu. The only solution is to restart the game by closing and launching again.
I've mainly have this when switching from hard to peacefull difficulty.

To be completely honest. I haven’t played in a while. But from what I remember the game froze when changing difficulty, not anything else only difficulty. I don’t know if it had been resolved but if this is the only issue I think it might have been resolved

Is this still an issue in the latest release? If so, please attach a video of it occurring.
Have you noticed whether it only happens in specific worlds? Does it only occur on older and larger worlds, or are newly created ones also affected?
From your description, changing any other settings in the menu doesn't cause the game to freeze, correct? Has the game experienced any other forms of lag or lag spikes/freezes that weren't directly caused by the difficulty change?
