[MCPE-176350] Touch only affects the hotbar option still shows the joystick

I enabled the "Touch only affects the hotbar" option and when I went back in the game, j could still see the joystick from the touch controls.

I could not reproduce this in 1.21.2. Is this still an issue in the latest version?
