Every time I start the game/enter my village (survival mode), a raid starts, I don't have bad omen but I have previously fought raids in the village. Even if I defeat the raid it will still start again every time I join the game. I have tried numerous ways of fixing it such as switching to peaceful and leaving, but when I switch to normal it just starts anyway.
Another thing I want to mention is that the game has been crashing frequently.

No, I understand how raids work. What I am saying is every time it says "raid defeated" I get hero of the village, if I leave my world/go to nether I will come back to a new raid starting. I am 100% sure this is a bug, it has been going on for real life DAYS and it is starting to get really annoying since I just want to build in peace.

Each raid has multiple waves where the raid bar loads and then a group of illagers spawn. Is this what you are experiencing?
