Featured servers from the unreleased Servers tab in the new UI appear as LAN servers in Friends tab on the old UI, but disappears after some time switching back from the new UI.
Steps to produce:
1: on the menu, Click "Play"
2: if you're not in the new UI, click "Switch to New UI" on "Worlds" tab to switch to new UI
3: Wait for at least 5 seconds
4: Switch back to old UI by going to "Servers" tab on the new UI, and then click "Return to old UI" (I cannot see the Featured Servers in Servers tab on the new UI by the time I was creating the bug so I assume it was not released for now on Minecraft Preview, I use Windows PC and iOS to produce the issue.)
Expected result: Featured servers do not appear as LAN servers on "Friends" tab on the old UI after switching back, only in "Featured Servers" in the "Servers" tab on the old UI and only the LAN (Local-Area-Network) servers you're hosting in your network show as "LAN" in "Friends" tab.
Actual result: After returning back to the old UI, You might see that there were some servers running on "Friends" tab, these last for ~5 seconds and they disappear after that, and these are some LAN servers that have the same names and descriptions as some of featured servers on "Servers" tab on the old UI, what I suspect is these (hidden) featured servers from the new UI were being put as LAN servers in the old UI.

For the video I have to comply the upload limit (10MB) so I had to downscale it to lower resolution and lower frame-rate, you can still use this as how you could reproduce. Currently this only affects Minecraft Preview and the server tab in the new UI is under development (according to the game), I would assume it won't affect release versions of Minecraft as long as the new UI was not put with the old UI with an ability to switch each other.
Related by MCPE-178631 (my way to reproduce from the related issue)
This bug exists in release version right now according to MCPE-178631 . so now there is way for me to reproduce the issue in the release version if you want to attempt:
"Steps to produce:1: On the menu, Click "Play"2: Go to a world (can be either singleplayer or multiplayer)3: Leave the world via "Save and quit"4: Leave Play menu but stay in main menu, just don't restart the game5: Stay in main menu for at least 5 seconds6: Click "Play" again7: Observe the Friends tab
Expected result: Featured servers do not appear as LAN servers on "Friends" tab, only in "Featured Servers" in the "Servers" tab and only LAN (Local-Area-Network) servers you're hosting in your network show as "LAN" in "Friends" tab.
Actual result: Although featured servers appears on "Servers" Tab, You might see that there were some servers running on "Friends" tab, these last for ~5 seconds and they disappear after that, and these are some LAN servers that have the same names and descriptions as some of featured servers on "Servers" tab.what I suspect compared to one from the related issue I put above is this time I think the game started searching featured servers and putting that into LAN servers in the "Friends" tab when you left the world and returned to main menu."
Update: I managed to reproduce the issue in other ways, you don't have to do steps 1 to 3, and only do steps 4 to 7 (from "Steps to reproduce" above) if you done surfing Minecraft Marketplace, checking Friends tab, viewing your Marketplace Library, checking Create World screen or checking Dressing Room. However I cannot reproduce the issue without doing such above, I have to do such above to be able to reproduce the issue"
Update 2: this way of reproducing the bug seemed fixed since Release 1.20.80 (but not the original way to reproduce that's done only in Preview versions)
Seemed no longer be reproduced in Release 1.20.80, but I'm waiting for the new Preview version.
Update: Affects 1.21.0.23 Preview
Update 1: Affects the rest of Preview versions since 1.21.0.23 but excluding release versions, I or moderators will update this once it got fixed or found another the same kind.
