Sorry for typo on “verify”, I meant “…You can verify the issue in between the tutorial and the game by doing the following:…“
Sure. You can verified the issue in between the tutorial and the game by doing the following:
Import “aim assist preset addition attempt from the tutorial“ (which basically I followed the tutorial from https://learn.microsoft.com/minecraft/creator/documents/camerasystem/aimassistpresets?view=minecraft-bedrock-stable ) and “correct way to add aim assist preset based of the game“ (which basically I copied the aim assist folder structure based from inside the game assets) to the game, due to a bug, the game must be closed before each import.
With Minecraft open, click Play
Click “Create new world”
Click “Create new world” again
Click “Cheats” from the left bar
Enable cheats from the Cheats tab
Click “Behavior packs” from the left bar
Click “Activate” on “aim assist preset addition attempt from the tutorial“
Click “Create”
On a world, switch to third person
Send a command “/aimassist @s 90 90 10 angle example:testing".
Images of content logs:
“aim assist preset addition attempt from the tutorial” (which basically I followed the tutorial from https://learn.microsoft.com/minecraft/creator/documents/camerasystem/aimassistpresets?view=minecraft-bedrock-stable (which the aim assist preset is located at aim assist preset addition attempt from the tutorial\cameras\presets)):
Content log yields errors with the camera (“[Camera][error]- -> minecraft:camera_preset: missing required field”, “[Camera][error]-Failed to load camera presets”).
Setting the view to third person and sending the command “/aimassist @s 90 90 10 angle example:testing“ results in failure (with “Unknown aim assist preset name“).
“correct way to add aim assist preset based of the game“ (which basically I copied the aim assist folder structure based from inside the game assets (which the aim assist preset is located at correct way to add aim assist preset based of the game\aim_assist\presets)):
Content log yields none of errors, and setting the view to third person and sending the command /aimassist @s 90 90 10 angle example:testing results in success (with the aim assist being activated).
Nevermind, this issue can still be reproduced via Profile screen.
The button to sign out now can’t be accessed, so this issue can’t be reproduced.

The Super Mario Mash-up Pack is updated again in 1.21.111 (https://feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/articles/39932063411213 and https://www.minecraft.net/zh-hant/article/the-copper-age---minecraft--bedrock-edition-1-21-111-changelog ). from the resource pack in the Nintendo Switch, in 1.21.111, the pack version is now 1.1.4, which added retextures until The Copper Age.
@wreeper Thanks for the workaround, I did that but without rebooting the PC, the game still signs back in, and after rebooting, the previously linked account gets added back.
I did various workarounds before this, which includes:
Method | Result |
Disconnecting the PC from the internet | Results in account to be unlinked in UWP version, but on GDK version, the game “signs” back on its own, even without the internet. |
Wiping the game save (data), including | Save’s wiped, yet still manages to sign-in without clicking “Sign in now”, unlike UWP versions which it would not. |
Reinstall the game without the save data | Save’s wiped, yet still manages to sign-in without clicking “Sign in now”. |
Setting the device account to local account | Already a local account, yet still signs in to Microsoft Account on Minecraft Preview. |
Letting a second device open the game, kicking the first’s connection | When Minecraft Preview is being opened on the first PC after performing the workaround, its DRM asks me to sign back in, blocking the game from opening. |
After tons of workaround, I managed to play the game without signing myself on:
Open Xbox app while connected to the internet
Click the profile icon / gamertag
Click Sign out
Open Minecraft Preview
When the DRM asks you to sign in, press the close window button
Can confirm.
iOS:
Forgot the image for the comment above, here’s “resource-pack-disallows-multiplayer.jpg“.
Cannot reproduce (fixed) since 1.21.90.27 Preview for Preview versions, and still can’t reproduce in 1.21.110.25 Preview, because the “Return to Old UI” button (from step 4) is removed and so it’s not possible to return to old UI.
Video of the issue (starts at step 3)
Also, no add-on was activated reproducing the issue.
This bug may affect the resource pack. I had sent the one below to Minecraft Help but they told me to post that to Feedback, and then they ghosted me in a separate support ticket (not fair gng).
Steps to reproduce on the resource pack:
With Minecraft open, click “Play”
Click “Create new world”
Click “Owned by me”, make sure you grabbed at least one Marketplace content
Click “Super Mario Mash-up”, since it defaults to have the resource pack activated
Click Multiplayer on the left bar
Turn off Multiplayer toggle
Try to turn the Multiplayer toggle back on
Expected result: It should not cause the pop-up to appear, even if so, it should not also disable Switch-specific multiplayer
Actual result: It causes the pop-up to appear, telling players to deactivate the resource pack (see "resource-pack-disallows-multiplayer.jpg", translated to “Content disallowed”; “You activated the Super Mario Mash-up Pack, [which] this is not allowed on cross-platform multiplayer.”, “Remove content and re-enable multiplayer”; “Back”), and it makes hosting the world only in Switch-specific multiplayer over Nintendo Switch Online impossible.
Workaround specific to that: Included from comments earlier if players prefer Nintendo Switch, otherwise for PC and mobile players who cannot access the Nintendo consoles (for cost, space, time, even availability and Nintendo's ethics), for the world and resource pack, they can also import the community ports of it.
Can confirm. Also affects Traditional Chinese version where Simplified Chinese letters are used.
Steps to reproduce:
Visit https://www.minecraft.net/zh-hans (Simplified Chinese version (zh-hans) of the site) and https://www.minecraft.net/zh-hant (Traditional Chinese version (zh-hant) of the site)
Observe the header (the top tab of the site) and the footer (bottom of the site) of either sites
Try clicking the links in the header or footer
Expected result: Headers and footers of the site should use Simplified Chinese letters and its links for Simplified Chinese version and Traditional Chinese letters and its links for Traditional Chinese version respectively and the links should link to the same version of Chinese.
Observed result: Headers and footers of the site uses Traditional Chinese letters on the Simplified Chinese version of the site (zh-hans) or Simplified Chinese letters when on the Traditional Chinese version of the site (zh-hant), and the links direct users to other version of Chinese (if the site is in Traditional Chinese, the links in the header or footer direct user to Simplified Chinese version, and vice versa).
