Can confirm. Also affects Traditional Chinese version where Simplified Chinese letters are used.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Visit https://www.minecraft.net/zh-hans (Simplified Chinese version (zh-hans) of the site) and https://www.minecraft.net/zh-hant (Traditional Chinese version (zh-hant) of the site)

  2. Observe the header (the top tab of the site) and the footer (bottom of the site) of either sites

  3. Try clicking the links in the header or footer

Expected result: Headers and footers of the site should use Simplified Chinese letters and its links for Simplified Chinese version and Traditional Chinese letters and its links for Traditional Chinese version respectively and the links should link to the same version of Chinese.

Observed result: Headers and footers of the site uses Traditional Chinese letters on the Simplified Chinese version of the site (zh-hans) or Simplified Chinese letters when on the Traditional Chinese version of the site (zh-hant), and the links direct users to other version of Chinese (if the site is in Traditional Chinese, the links in the header or footer direct user to Simplified Chinese version, and vice versa).

This bug has not been fixed for over a month now. In between, there were suddenly instances of English text interspersed among the Chinese text. The situation is extremely bad right now. It has already had a serious impact. Users who use both simplified and traditional Chinese will face significant language barriers.

Ok, now. This bug hasn't been fixed for two months now. Someone's getting anxious now.

The issue should be resolved now. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.
