Steps to reproduce:
Make sure you equipped a skin from the Super Mario Mash-up on the Nintendo Switch
Open a world on both devices
On the second device, open the pause menu
Click “Socials”
Click “Invite to game”
Invite the one that is playing on the Nintendo Switch
On the Nintendo Switch, click the “-“ key to make the reply
Click “Accept”
Expected result: The Nintendo Switch should accept the invite by leaving its world, and then join in the world hosted by the second device.
Observed result: The game softlocks, and it has to be force quit.

It being exclusive to Nintendo Switch never ever makes sense to me as a Minecraft player But even so it shouldn’t cause the game to soft lock too IMO.
It kind of makes some sense. The Super Mario Mash-up is exclusive to the Nintendo Switch (because Super Mario belongs to Nintendo), so when a non-Nintendo Switch user invites you to their world while you have a skin from the Super Mario Mash-up, it cannot let you join, but it shouldn’t softlock the game.
