This bug has been working for several dozen versions, and is still not fixed.
It will be difficult to explain, but in the video we see:
-When a player writes something on (chat, sign, command block, book, etc.), then everything is fine.
-When the player wants to move the letter icon (green arrow), it is not displayed correctly, and it is impossible to understand which part of the text you have moved to.
-Sometimes it even leads to some words being inserted into the text, or the whole text is erased.
This problem is related to the writing function itself inside Minecraft.
Steps to reproduce:
In new command block, enter the following text using the regular Android on-screen keyboard: "Here is some example text". Alternatively, you can enter the text in a book and quill or the chat window instead of a command block.
Move the cursor after the word "Here" by touching the end of the word.
Enter the text "xxx".
Expected Result:
The "xxx" is placed at the end of the first word.
Observed Result:
The "xxx" is placed at the end of the text, and the word "is" is deleted.

That's right. This bug works on all phone-type devices. Languages do not affect this bug, in all languages and on all smartphones, chat (etc.) are colored, extra words are inserted, or the text cannot be changed normally. This problem appeared a long time ago, it has been in existence for half a year...
Please focus on your specific experience. You can't know whether the bug affects "all smartphones" and "all languages" unless you've tried them all, in all combinations. When you generalize, you risk glossing over details that Mojang needs for finding the problem.
You said this bug has affected dozens of versions. If it has been reported before, why are you creating a new report? Are you reporting something new? If you're just repeating an old report, which one? And why didn't you just comment on the earlier report instead of creating a new one?
Yes, maybe not with all phones, but I have several devices in which this bug is present. I also write in several different languages, and this bug is present in all of them, so I wrote all the languages, I can be wrong of course. No, this is my first and new reported post about this bug, I saw that this bug has not been fixed in several versions, so realizing that this bug is very scary for me, I decided to report it.
All right then. We need to be able to see your problem on a device we have access to before we can confirm it and pass it on to Mojang. The devs will also need to reproduce it on their test devices. So what we need from you is a detailed set of steps telling us how to reproduce it. A template for the suggested format is given in our Mojira Bug Tracker Guidelines and FAQ, which also gives tips on how to write a helpful bug report, how to understand the bug reporting and fixing process, and much more. But for your convenience I'll show you a sample of the most important part that should be in your description:
Sample reproduction steps for illustration

I personally don't have Minecraft on an Android device, so I'll be passing this on to one of our helpers or another mod who will confirm it after you respond.Β
Thank you very much! This bug works at least on my main device (Galaxy a6). Everything that you wrote in the example is correct, I put it in my post with an error.
I asked another moderator (who has Minecraft on Android) to look at this report. He said we're tracking this issue in MCPE-174362, so this ticket is being resolved and linked as a duplicate.
If you would like to add a vote and any extra information to the main ticket it would be appreciated.
If you haven't already, you might like to make use of the search feature before creating a new report, to see if your issue has already been reported.

Please update the Platform field to the platform you experience this problem on. "Multiple" should not be used until we have reports of it happening on multiple platforms.
I think what you're describing is that the cursor (what you called a "letter icon (green arrow)") disappears when you move it so that you can't see where characters you type will go. Is that what you mean? If so, how did you move the cursorβdid you click the mouse where you wanted it, or use the arrow keys, or are you using a different input device?
What language is selected in Settings > Language? That might have something to do with it.
