Villagers not taking jobs (workaround)

When trying to give villager job, he simply wont take it

the workaround ive found is if you put the villager in and out of the nether, they take the job. they also seem not to change trades in the overworld if you punch them in the nether.

nevermind, i think its due to villagers still trying to pathfind to their original bed/nonexistent workstation❓ although its too far, and putting them into the nether resets them, this still should be fixed though, its really annoying.

Villagers are not designed to reassign themselves to the nearest job block in Bedrock Edition: see MCPE-45270.
