Moss doesn't spread on Endstone using bonemeal

So I've been playing Minecraft for awhile and I really love the game, but when I was on my realms and started a project of covering the end in moss, I couldn't help but get frustrated when I realized moss doesn't spread through Endstone. I'm pretty sure moss can spread on netherrack so why not make moss spread on Endstone. It also makes plenty of sense since Endstone is basically just yellow cobblestone and also in the case that this is the same with netherrack make moss also spread on netherrack if it already doesn't it'd really help!
