I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my frustration regarding connectivity issues my friends and I have been experiencing since updating Minecraft to version 1.20.60 on the App Store.
Typically, we enjoy playing together in my friend's world almost every night, and we've ensured that we are friends in-game. However, after the recent update, we are unable to join each other's worlds. Despite having stable Wi-Fi connections, the problem persists.
I have recorded a video to provide clear evidence of the issue from my perspective. I kindly request that you investigate this matter promptly and provide a solution or guidance on resolving the connectivity problems introduced by the latest update.

Same exact issue here with 2 of my friends despite stable ethernet connection, multiple attempts with log in/out, reboot and still back to square one.
An error code message would also be handy to make troubleshooting more straightforward.
Really hoping for it to be solved asap.

I am currently having the same issue. Some people are able to log in after the main user restarts the world. But then suddenly, those who were able to log in before, can't get in. This issue started after all the users updated to minecraft version 1.20.60
Steps to replicate:
Open Minecraft
Click PLAY
Switch tab to Friends
Click on friends world
This will load but then suddenly say Unable to Connect to World. Sometimes it goes through, but it mostly fails regardless of what anyone does.
Attempted other solution that did not function:}
Restarted computer
Join from an invite
Closed minecraft app and re-opened
Closed app down from task manager before re-opening

I had the same issue and I was able to resolve it. For whatever reason, windows decided to block the server in the firewall. I never had to mess with the firewall before because it always just worked. So, my suggestion for everyone, check to make sure the PC that you are trying to connect to didn't block incoming traffic

I recently bought a DLC in the minecraft Marketplace. As i was waiting for my friend to join, he wasnt able to. He would tell me that whenever he tried to join me it would appear on his screen a message that said the server sent a broken patent. We were very frustated by this, as we were planning on playing it for a long time, and been keeping its content a secret so we can experience it as intended. I hope this issue gets fixed soon as the feature of multiplayer is a key factor for playing minecraft.
