Furnace can't put item on furnace if they are on his side, on the top of the furnace it work but not on thé side, i also try with chest and it works when the hopper IS on the side (during thé vidéo with the chest test, i use m'y cobbleston generator and one of the cobbleston got burn in the lava, hé didn't disapear)
I didn't do a glitch or anything else for make the hopper not working, i discover it when i was trying some things.

Works As Intended, hoppers pointing to the side of the furnace can only deposit items into the fuel slot, obviously cobblestone aren't fuels.

A working hopper pointing into the top of a furnace deposits only into the ingredient slot. It can push any item, including items that can't be smelted by the furnace. A hopper pointing into the side of a furnace deposits into the fuel slot, and only items that are usable as fuel. A hopper below a furnace pulls everything from the output slot and empty buckets from the fuel slot left over from using lava buckets as fuel.
