In brief summary:
Addon armors that include the component "minecraft:knockback_resistance" do not apply any amount of knockback resistance to the armor.

In the linked video above testing in regard to this issue is done as follows:
vanilla netherite armor (+1 knockback resistance per piece)
addon armor (intended to be +2 knockback resistance per piece)
The player being tested on is also using Minecraft for Windows as well.
The addon armor provided absolutely no protection from knockback in this testing.
In the previous update, these armors were fully functional in regards their knockback resistance.

When you say it was working in the previous version, can you be more specific? The current version is 1.20.62 and the prior was 1.20.60, but the only reported intentional change in 1.20.62 was fixing a crash.

This addon contains multiple armors. To save you time, the Maximilian, Chinese Mountain Patern and Jousting armors are all intended to have knockback resistance, and their coding shows that it is present.
I have used this addon starting in 1.20.00 - present. It was working until very recently.
Please let me know if you need a second addon to test this with.
