Remember active New you died UI.
Try to continuously die
Observations:
Screen get stuck or player can't move and health bar seen no health and hunger bar was full before dying so it seen hunger bar is full if clicked on chest it produce click sound
Note:when getting dead continuously remember that inventory or chest inventory is open or try to open continuously.

Can confirm, I was able to reproduce this on Windows. Tabbing in and out of the game seems to temporarily solve the issue.
Steps to reproduce:
Give yourself a command block.
Set it to a repeating command block that's always active and have it execute on first tick.
Type in the following command: kill @p
Set your gamemode to survival.
Observed results:
If you die repeatedly, you won't be able to respawn or exit to the main menu, as the death screen won't appear.
Expected results:
The death screen should appear.
