The issue was present in previous versions and was fixed, but now it is reappearing.
Steps to reproduce:
1: Use any Android device, launch Minecraft and enter any world.
2: Make sure the game mode is creative.
3: Place any interactable blocks on the ground (choose a barrel as an example here).
4: Holding any block, crouch in the air and tap on the top surface of the previously placed barrel.
Expected behavior: The player places a block on top of the barrel.
Reality: The player opens the barrel.

Related Issues Reported: MCPE-167043. The issue was only fixed in 1.20.30 and then reappeared in subsequent releases.
