I have narrowed it down to an item that was deposited into a chest fed from a zombie spawner. On opening, breaking, or transferring this certain item out of the effected chest the game instantly crashes and reverts to windows.

Can confirm that, also on Windows 10 edition. Moved the chest with a piston but the game still crash when trying to open or break the chest.
