Steps to reproduce
Place down two armor stands next to each other or Place a armor stand at back and place any mob on front nearby
Hold a mace
Create a tower to jump or Teleport the player 10 blocks into the air
/tp @p ~ ~10 ~
Smash attack one of the armor stands or a mob
Observed Result: The nearby armor stand does not taking knockback
Expected behavior: The nearby armor stand would allow take knockback, as armor stands are needs receive knockback from player attacks.
