Unable to Equip Wolf Armor in Realms Worlds created before 1.20.80

Players cannot equip Wolf Armor to their tame wolves on Realms Worlds that were loaded to the Realm Server before the 1.20.80 release.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Have a pre-existing Realms world
2. Load the World and tame a Wolf or use an already tame Wolf (that you own).
3. Craft and/or have Wolf Armor in Inventory
4. After taming a Wolf, attempt to interact with the Wolf whilst holding the Wolf Armor Item

Observed Results:
1. The tame Wolf will only sit/stand when being interacted with whilst holding the Wolf Armor Item

Expected Results:
1. After interacting with a tame wolf whilst holding Wolf Armor, the Wolf should now be equipped with the Armor

The issue only occurs on Realms Worlds created before the 1.20.80 date. Downloading the World and re-uploading it to the Realm appears to rectify the issue, if only as a jerry-rig option, until the bug has been fixed.

This bug appears to have been encountered here MCPE-180985 & here REALMS-11763

I cannot reproduce this on my realm. We started the realm 4 weeks ago, in 1.20.73, and I was able to put armor on all of my tamed wolves that existed before 1.20.80, and on a wolf that spawned and that I tamed in 1.20.80.

Resolving as a duplicate of REALMS-11763.

You videos show that you are using addons and/or world templates. The issue may be caused by those. Please provide any additional information on the report mentioned above.

I'm so sorry for the late reply; I've been super busy with work.

I thought I had checked all of the add-ons I was using for duplicate references to the Wolf in the BP & RPs; however, I missed one.
I traced the issue to the DefinedPBR Resource pack I was using. It had old Entity definitions and obviously no references to the new Wolf Textures and Wolf Armor.

So this issue is not an issue at all! 😃

Apologies for the delay and thank you for your patience and understanding.

Thanks

Eve
